Yes! All primary registrants must check in at the Campus Center Aldom Lounge to pick up personalized itineraries and paid merchandise for members of their party. Plus, we have a free welcome gift for you and other important weekend information! Check-in & Welcome will be open from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Guests may park in any visitor lot for this event. Overflow parking will be available on the Admission Field. This campus map shows available parking lots in navy blue. We will provide you with a paper version of the map upon check-in.
Please refrain from parking in fire lanes, in front of dumpsters, handicapped spaces (unless you display the appropriate tag), or on the grass (except for the Admissions Field, if necessary). Parking lots at Historic St. Mary's City and Trinity Episcopal Church are off limits to College visitors.

Everyone who loves St. Mary’s College! All campus and local community members are welcome to join in our combined homecoming and family weekend celebration. Family members of current students and alumni are especially encouraged to attend.
There is a $15 registration fee per party that is used to offset the cost of developing a festive campus-wide event. While most of the excitement is included in your registration fee, some meals, activities and merchandise may be added for an additional cost. Review the Schedule of Events to see specific costs.
You can save $5 when you register by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 31 using the promo code EARLY!
This event is family-friendly! However, you must be over 21 to enter the fenced-off 21+ Tailgate Party or purchase alcohol at the Crab Feast.
We recognize that for many, pets are family members; but for the safety and comfort of our community, we ask that you please leave your furry four-legged friends at home. In addition, NCAA policy requires that pets aren't near the varsity games and will not be allowed at the Jamie L. Roberts Stadium.
Yes! But only for meals in the Campus Center dining hall, called the J. Frank Raley Great Room. All meals in The Great Room may be purchased on-site with OneCard, cash or credit card.
The only meal that must be purchased in advance through the online registration is the Taste of Southern Maryland Crab Feast which is provided by an outside catering vendor.
We highly encourage all guests - even students - to register by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 24. There are many free activities to enjoy; however, walk-up guests or anyone who tries to register after the deadline will not be accommodated for ticketed events and meals.
Once you have checked-in at the Campus Center Aldom Lounge, some activities do allow for walk-ups. Look for "Walk-ups Welcome" on the Schedule of Events. Please note: any activities marked "Pre-registration Required" will not allow walk-ups.
Due to rising costs from our vendors and the immense amount of work that goes into Hawktoberfest, we have increased the registration fee to $15 this year. This helps offset the expense of hosting over 1,500 attendees, making Hawktoberfest the largest campus-wide event at SMCM.
We appreciate your understanding and hope you will take advantage of this year's early bird discount.
To save $5 on your registration, simply register by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 31 and enter the promo code EARLY on the first step of the registration form!
If you register online or over the phone, you will receive an immediate email confirmation with a unique link that can be used to change or add to your registration at any time up to the registration deadline.
If you do not receive an email confirmation, there is a chance that your registration was unsuccessful. If you have any questions about your registration, contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumnioffice@smcm.edu or (240) 895-3381.
You may add to your registration by clicking the unique link in your confirmation email. You may add events and/or guests or remove unpaid events to your original registration at any time before the registration deadline.
