Alumni Council Nomination Form

The information provided in this nomination form, in addition to any publicly-available information, will be used to guide our votes. We give special attention to graduation year and geographic location when making our decisions. We encourage nominations for alumni of color and other marginalized identities, as well as recent graduates. In doing so, we ensure the Council is a well-balanced and diverse governing body that accurately reflects the makeup of the Alumni Association as a whole.

You may use this form to nominate yourself or another alum.

Before you begin:

Please prepare responses (250 words max) for each of the following questions/prompts which will be asked after you enter your personal information on the next page:

• Why you are interested in the position (or the reason for your nomination of another alum).
• Information on any leadership roles, academic achievements, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and/or employment opportunities you (or the person you're nominating) held as a student at SMCM.
• How you (or the person you're nominating) have supported SMCM events, volunteer programs, and/or fundraising initiatives in the past.
• How you (or the person you're nominating) is currently involved with the College.
• How you (or the person you're nominating) plan to engage alumni and students in SMCM events, volunteer programs, and/or fundraising initiatives in this role.
• Information on the particular skills or expertise you (or the person you're nominating) can bring to the position.
• Anything else you would like the selection committee to know about you (or the person you're nominating).
